taro Hawaiian Advisors

“He ali`i ka aina,  He kauwa ke kanaka.
The land is the chief;  man is its servant.”
Hawaiian proverb
Here we will list our Native Hawaiian practitioners and Advisors. Hawaii is our host culture. Therefore, the wisdom of the kupuna and kahunas in establishing food systems and proper stewardship of the aina can only be done with their blessings. We invite the native Hawaiian community to please offer LEAF guidance so that we are executing our kuleana in the most akamai and pono way possible. We must work together, (laulima), as mahina’ai and mahi’ku, and mahi’ai so that the fruits of the aina can again be distributed to everyone to enjoy and relish to their full satisfaction.   Please contact LEAF if you share our same values for our Hawaiian communities. Mahalo nui loa.

“Aloha mai , I love your mana’o and values and pledge my support in however I may be of assistance.”   Jerry Konanui, esteemed Taro grower and educator from Hawai`i Island
